Review: Tsuritama and Kids on the Slope

Hi everyone!

Glad to see that my blogs has several views, hope you're enjoying it~    :)
Today I'll be reviewing a couple of Spring anime I recently finished watching.
They are Tsuritama and Sakamichi no Apollon(Kids on the Slope)

**Not a spoiler**

First Ill start with Tsuritama cuz I finished it a week ago ^^

My first impression of it was "its so colorful! I'll definitely regret not watching this!" But after watching about three episodes the story became kinda old and boring, but I hadn't found any other anime to watch that was to my liking (which by the way would be like shounen, bishounen, shoujo, comedy, romance. Maybe suggest a few? Thanks

That art style the creators used was what brought me back. Its so clear and bright, it felt like a rainbow was staring me in the face! It didn't have much detail to its like the designers completely forgot about something called shading and definition. Its like a very talented child drew it.

But I guess that's the point right, the drawing style sets the mood in opinion when I'm watching anime. Harsh shading and definition mean its going to be a serious series probably sad or paranormal. And when its care free and looks like the characters clothes were drawn using a ruler and not a free hand, makes it seem more imaginative and fun paced.

Even the OP song was good, for a solid 2 weeks I kept playing it again and again, I had playing in my head constantly. Lol~~

Well here's the OP for Tsuritama if you want to know what its like:

Tsuritama OP

Second is Sakamichi no Apollon or Kids on the Slope.

At first I thought it was going to be a happy cheerful show from the looks of its preview and OP. So I was glad to give it a chance because I didn't want to watch a sad and gloomy anime--especially over my summer break. No thanks! But as I continued watching it kept drifting from happy to depressing to what?!

But other than that THE MUSIC! Oh my gosh, its wonderful, I have a newly developed thing for Jazz. Who ever was playing behind the scenes is amazing!! It made me want to return to my days of playing the piano.......I have been playing since I was four. I haven't touched a piano for a while but I no I haven't forgotten, sometimes I find my self imitatingly tapping a table or something along to song I hear or I'm singing that has a piano in it.

In the end it was worth it, the ending was quite unexpected. But im sure you would enjoy it, if your not an all about mecha, fantasy, magical girl etc. Its more realistic.

Anyways, before I end up spoiling it for you here's the OP, unless you would much prefer to watch it when you start watching the anime.......

Sakamichi no Apollon OP

Hope you enjoyed my little reviewing section today. If you would like me to review more anime, and have watched either of these shows, comment below! But please include a spolier alert. No ones likes it when you ruin a good story for them >:/ (I've had my experience..)

Bye! Please comment and look forward to future reviews and lists :D
